Role and responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of agile projects from initiation to closure.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Apply agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage project workflows, prioritize tasks, and optimize team efficiency.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to agile principles and best practices, driving the adoption of agile mindset and values across the organization.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including business sponsors, project team members, vendors, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against plan, and provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and reviews, and facilitate collaboration and decision-making among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, status reports, and other project-related artifacts, in accordance with organizational standards and processes.
  • Manage project changes, scope creep, and deviations from plan, and negotiate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and issues as needed.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices for future projects.

Qualification and requirements

  • Minimum of 4 Years Experience in Project Management or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Agile principles.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in Fintech will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in payment/API integration will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Project with Technology like Mssql, C#, VB will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Microsoft Project etc)
  • Experience working with various functional teams and handling large-scale project is an added advantage.
