Airtel Lanka introduces Talk Time gifting with Tranglo

Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, today announced a strategic partnership with mobile value added service provider Tranglo to introduce Talk Time gifting for Airtel Lanka customers across geographies. With this, friends and family residing abroad will now be able to gift Talk Time to their loved ones in Sri Lanka – anytime, anywhere!

With the minimum amount that can be transferred being Rs.10, Airtel customers can now share news of this service with their friends and family residing abroad, to enable the gifting of Talk Time across geographies. With this tie-up, Sri Lankans will be offered the opportunity to receive the gift of Talk Time direct to their Airtel mobile from friends and family residing abroad. For post paid Airtel customers, a gift of up to Rs.25,000 can be received which will be deducted from their monthly bill. Prepaid Airtel customers can receive up to Rs.9,999 direct to their mobile which will be reflected by an increase in their credit balance (by the amount sent).
