Tranglo announced a collaboration with Bank AL Habib to expand the global fintech’s remittance touchpoints in Pakistan.
With this partnership, 10 million Pakistanis abroad can now send money back to Bank AL Habib’s 847 branches in 337 cities in the country, giving them more options to reach their loved ones.
Tranglo CEO Jacky Lee said: “We are proud to be working closely with Bank AL Habib. It is important to have an established partner like Bank AL Habib to complement our global reach and integration so that every transaction becomes as seamless as possible.”
Tranglo’s international partners would do well to take advantage of this enhanced network as Pakistan’s remittances were estimated to grow at about 9% in 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a World Bank’s report in October.
Bank AL Habib Group Head Aun Ali said: “On this auspicious day, I would like to congratulate both Bank AL Habib and the Tranglo team on this relationship. This will help both organisations in serving Pakistani expatriates through instant, simple and secure transaction processing.”
