We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Product to lead and spearhead the Product department at Tranglo. This role is crucial in driving product development, growth, and implementation while ensuring alignment with market needs and demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, exceptional leadership skills, and experience in the remittance, payments, or fintech industry.
Role and responsibilities
Product Development and Roadmap:
- Lead a team of product owners in overseeing the end-to-end product development process.
- Define product requirements, prioritize features, understand UI/UX, and create a roadmap for product releases.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to ensure seamless integration and optimal use of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Integration & Performance Review:
- Lead the team to conduct reviews of Supply Partners' API Integration and product changes.
- Evaluate and implement necessary updates and improvements to enhance product functionality and user experience according to agreed SLA.
- Ensure existing products run smoothly and at their maximum efficiency.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key liaison between various internal and external stakeholders, including other department heads, senior management, customers, and regulatory authorities.
- Exhibit effective communication and relationship management skills for success in this aspect of the role.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Extensive experience in product management, preferably in the remittance or payments industry.
- Proven track record of leading product development and driving growth.
- Strong understanding of market research, product lifecycle, and project management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
