Responsibilities
- Standardize and improve company processes by reviewing, documenting, and aligning with best practices
- Drive improvement and scalability of processes to support business growth through gap analysis and control tests
- Work with process owners to develop solutions to mitigate operational and risk issues
- Document exceptions and deficiencies, including working with process and control owners to develop and execute remediation plans
- Evaluate the impact of in-house system initiatives on processes, systems, data, and financial reporting
- Actively participate and support problem identification sessions to help capture and document problems, major issues and actionable opportunities
- Ensure appropriate controls and quality frameworks are in place for the effectiveness of processes/procedures
- Provide training and support to process owners to help them maintain control and keep processes up to date
- Document all changes, action plans and processes, including As-Is and To-Be process diagrams and descriptions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Professional qualification in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Process Excellence/Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement and/or Big 4 experience is preferred
- Understanding of the COSO framework and the audit process
- Passionate about improvement
- Ability to turn ideas into clear actions
- Ability to quickly grasp new knowledge
- Strong organising skills and a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with high-quality results
- A flair for supporting process owners with best practices and tools
- Ability to work independently and engage diverse stakeholders
