Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Support audits & taxes by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions and reporting practices.
Assist in the preparation of external financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual filings with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the financial reporting function.
Qualifications and requirements
Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis
Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form
Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation
Should have good written and oral communication skills
Expert in numbers and good math skills
Other skills required are related to problem solving, entering and verifying data, knowledge of computers, various software applications and standard office equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
